First District Court of Appeals to hold its First Off-Site Arguments since 2019

On August 23, 2022 at 9:30, the First District Court of Appeals of Ohio will host its oral arguments at Finneytown Elementary. Due to restrictions from COVID-19, this will be the first off-site arguments for the Court since 2019. As part of the First District’s Courtroom in the Community initiative, residents of Hamilton County will have the opportunity to view the Ohio judicial system in action. Attendees will have the chance to view arguments in two different cases before the Court of Appeals. The judges and attorneys participating in the arguments will be available for a brief question and answer session at the conclusion of the proceedings. The judges hearing cases that day will be Presiding Judge Beth Myers, Judge Marilyn Zayas, and Judge Ginger Bock.
