Notice Regarding Cybersecurity Incident Involving C‑Track
On September 2, 2026, the Supreme Court of Ohio released a statement regarding a cybersecurity incident involving C‑Track, the internal case‑processing system used by the First District Court of Appeals. C‑Track is an appellate case management tool hosted by the Supreme Court of Ohio and operated by West Publishing Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thomson Reuters Corporation, doing business as Thomson Reuters Court Management Solutions (TRCMS).
About C‑Track
C‑Track is an internal workflow and case-processing tool used by the First District to manage and track case information after filings are received by the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts through its separate case filing system. Because C‑Track is an internal administrative system, this incident does not impact the Clerk of Courts’ electronic filing system or the ability to file documents with the Court.
Current Status of the Incident
The investigation is ongoing. At this time, it has not been determined what personal information may have been exposed or which individuals may be affected. Once officials identify whether any non-public personal information was disclosed, the Supreme Court of Ohio will determine and issue additional required notices.
