On December 6, 2024, the First District Court of Appeals, in partnership with the University of Cincinnati College of Law, is offering a half day CLE at no cost to attendees. The in-person only event will take place at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and is open to local attorneys. Attendees can receive up to three and a half hours (3.5) general CLE credit and a half hour (0.5) professional conduct CLE credit.
The seminar will provide local practitioners with a review of the nuts and bolts of the appellate record, a panel discussion with the Hamilton County trial courts on the procedures associated with requesting and filing the appellate record, a case law update, and an overview of the Court’s mediation program. Finally, the program will end with a discussion on AI and the ethical impact it has on attorneys. A full agenda and description of courses can be found here.
