Judges from the Ohio First District Court of Appeals volunteered recently at a local nonprofit organization as part of “Give Back Friday.”
Judges Beth A. Myers, Pierre H. Bergeron and Robert C. Winkler spent time on April 8 packing boxes at New Life Furniture Bank in Blue Ash. They were joined by Judge Terry Nestor of the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.

ollects gently used furniture and housewares to provide to people in need throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky as they move into new homes. The judges packed boxes that contained dishes, drinking glasses, cups, silver
ware and small serving utensils.
Since September 2021, on the second Friday of each month, the First District’s judges, in coordination with other Hamilton County courts, have performed community service at area nonprofit organizations.
