Copies Of Public Record Requests
Appellate case records for the First District Court of Appeals, First Appellate District of Ohio, are maintained by the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts. Public records request should therefore be directed to the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts and not the administrative offices of the First District Court of Appeals. The website for the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts is: www.courtclerk.org.

Links from external websites to www.hamilton-co.org/appealscourt are acceptable but must follow the following guidelines:

A. www.hamilton-co.org/appealscourt must be provided its own window with full window resizing controls available to the user. It is not acceptable to load www.hamilton-co.org/appealscourt into a frame within another web site.

B. The contents of www.hamilton-co.org/appealscourt should not be filtered or modified in a manner to purposefully alter the content of the web site.

These images and documents may be saved to a local computer for later viewing but may not be modified in any way. Additionally, legal documents may not be posted or referenced either on or off the internet, especially in a manner to insinuate that they are the “official” or “original” documents. Instead links may be provided to the appropriate document or content on www.courtclerk.org.

Therefore, the information available through this site is not warranted to be accurate or current. Only the official court records available from the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts, available in person, should be relied upon as accurate and current. This web site is intended to be available seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day but the First District Court of Appeals makes no guarantee in this regard. The First District Court of Appeals, First Appellate District, will not be held liable for any problems or other issues resulting from the inaccessibility of www.hamilton-co.org/appealscourt.

6. Accessibility
